This port is one of three (3) Public Wharves in Jamaica. The Port of Montego Bay is utilised primarily in the trade of three types of cargo – liquid bulk, containerized cargo, and break bulk. The port also serves cruise passengers, and is a home port to small cruise lines. The Port of Montego Bay will be expanded and modernized into a multi-purpose terminal.

Project ScopeThe paving of the surface of the Cargo Terminal at the Port of Montego Bay and the installation of a new generator which will support another 32 reefer plugs.
